In terms of environmental procedure policy, we apply recycling protocols in our plants so as to minimize our ecological footprint.
Our production plants are designed as clean rooms, ensuring that none of the produced byproducts escapes to the environment. We have adopted strict and effective operational methods of carbon-nanotubes and other nanoparticles dust collection, taking under consideration the environment and the community around our plant. The dust is recycled and used again for the production of nanoparticles derivatives.

That is why among the enormous prospects of Nanotechnology exploitation, Glonatech chooses those of bigger positive impact in general terms, not in profit terms. For example, our marine nanocoatings, thanks to the use of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), constitute a new third generation coating for vessels, which does not contain harmful biocides, such as copper, as all other marine coatings in the market.
Copper-free seas is something that our product ensures while at the same time, due to the CNTs, the coating is more durable (less maintenance costs for the ship owner), it prevents vessels’ hulls from the sea microorganisms and algae; thus reducing friction which means less fuel consumption and less pollution. In other words, Glonatech achieves multiple positive impacts and benefits at the most ecological manner. Analogous concept is incorporated in all our activities.
