Glonatech S.A., subsidiary nanotechnology company of ONEX, participated with a booth in the “The Researchers’ Night 2014”, the European research and science event for the public, which highlights the work and the contribution of research and researchers, and was held on the 26th of September, 2014 at the NCSR of Demokritos.

With the slogan “Research travels you everywhere”, this year’s event took place in nine cities around Greece:
- Athens
- Thessaloniki
- Patras
- Larissa
- Corinth
- Pylos
- Rhodes
- Heraklion and
- Rethymnon.
During the night the participants from diverse groups of the scientific and industrial community exchanged ideas and knowledge with the public about the current issues in research and science.
The Researchers’ Night is a celebration of science and research, which is held every year on the last Friday of September in more than 300 cities across Europe.
The events are supported by the European Commission, under the Actions Marie Sklodowska-Curie, which is an EU initiative aiming – among other things – to promote the profession of researchers in Europe.
